Decommissioning

Tag: life
Dec 21st, 2007

I’ve been thinking about decommissioning this blog for awhile now. The main reason is that I really don’t feel like I can take the time to give it any attention, and I usually feel that stale content is worse than no content. A secondary reason is that after about two years, I still don’t have much of a focus for the content that ends up here, and that makes it hard for me to justify its continued existence. Finally, my “microblogs” of informal content streams have really taken over the role that I had imagined for my blog; my friends and family can keep an eye on me on Flickr and Twitter or Facebook instead of here.

If you think I should keep blogging, let me know what you’d like to read about.

Don’t decommission!!! I just found you! I have some back reading to do, but I had completely forgotten about this website until I did a search, and, and…..

How’s your grown-up gig going? How’s New York? What are your latest and greatest knitting adventures? Sure all of these are probably answered on your blog, but that doesn’t mean a summary isn’t a good thing!

PS-I’m still here–and I mean here, here. But I’m actively expanding the fiber cult.
