This is a predictive post; Ann Arbor is a great place to live, and I will miss it. I’m just trying to guess what I will miss most.

- UM’s massive resources, especially the UMMA and the Askwith Media Library
- Proximity to Detroit: the DIA, Detroit Zoo, and Detroit Tigers
- Ann Arbor parks
- Familiarity

Yeah, those theaters are a big part of the attraction. It’s so nice to have an affordably-priced place that draws crowds appropriate to whatever movie. Over the weekend, saw “Grindhouse” with some people and the theater was more or less packed, which seems to be more the exception than the rule with that kind of thing.
